We often encounter backyards such as this one in Twin Peaks. Because of the hilly terrain railroad tie steps had been installed from the back of the yard up to the house. We made the decision to continue on with the terraced theme, however we sought to up the elegance by widening the steps in a dramatic fashion creating a finished concrete staircase with a low voltage lighting system to illuminate the path. Drip irrigation was installed in the finished concrete planter boxes to further the eco friendliness of the home.
